Our Story & Philosophy

Selfstrology was founded by May Sim. She started out her practice renting small corner tables and later shifted to a small partitioned windowless office within an industrial unit at Midview City. May primarily saw consultation clients and run small classes.

Selfstrology launched its first programme, "Basic Astrology Course", aimed at beginners who want to the learn the basics of chart interpretation. The course grew through word-of-mouth, many hobbyist and astrology enthusiast came to seek the academic structure.

Selfstrology shifted to a new academy premises. The new premises featured a 900sqft high-ceiling shophouse at Bussorah street, where we held public workshops and live events. Class sizes and consultation clients grew significantly.

Selfstrology launched the flagship programme, "Psychological Astrology", where it taught students more advanced techniques to identify psychological behaviours from indicators in the birth chart. The aim of the course is to apply the knowlege of these psychological patterns to address the impact it has on lives.

Selfstrology's founder May Sim was first interviewed and featured in mainstream media, "iWeekly" magazine, speaking and sharing about applying the tool of psychological astrology in consultations and how it makes a difference to clients' lives. Following that, May was subsequently interviewed by other media channels such as; The New York Times Style Magazine, AsiaOne, Women's Weekly, RiceMedia, The Asian Entreprenuer.

Selfstrology ran it's first 300-pax event, "Dawn Of The New Millennium", presenting the astrological predictions and forecasts expected across major industries and its effect on employment and jobs. Shortly, after the event, the global COVID-19 pandemic hit, many major industries and economies were badly affected.

As the world was dealing with the global pandemic crisis, May Sim went on to conduct mega webinars starting with, “The Full Truth Revealed”, explaining the relation of the astrological transits to what's happening, including forecasts for lockdown periods and what situations to expect. This began a series of 10 webinars over the period of 2020-2023, attracting more than 50,000 views from over 34 countries and regions.
