I hear these a lot from my students or those who have self-studied astrology on their own.
“Why do people I read for not resonate with my descriptions of their charts?”
“I see the traits and issues described in the client’s chart, but I just don’t seem to be able to say in English what I’m seeing”
“I’ve described the issue to them, but they still don’t take action”
The fundamental struggle is – your consultations don’t produce enough impact for the receiving party.
If your interpretations aren’t sharp enough, your clients end up just passively listening to a description of their personality, skills etc.
If your interpretations don’t actively impact the client, they don’t get the impetus to take positive action.
The end result being: flat, unimpactful astrology consultations that don’t help clients.
So what needs to be in place for that to happen?
1) Your Interpretations Have To Be Rock Solid
Like Olympic athletes, astrologers also have to train hard to be able to perform consistently and usually need to be formally coached on how to improve. Reliance on online sources or AI chatbot interpretations will not produce astrologers who deliver sharp, solid interpretations.
2) You Need To Be Able to Access And Address Core Issues
Solving a relationship problem is a lot more than just looking at problematic 7H planets and telling people what that means. Addressing core issues means being able to ascertain why the client psychologically selects unhealthy partners over and over again, and to be able to assist them to effectively make better choices. The process consists of a lot more than just telling people what they should do better – anyone can do that. An astrologer must deliver more than that if you are to deserve to collect a professional fee.
And especially for those of you who want to do this as a profession, there’s another layer.
3) You Need To Be In Practice And See Paid Clients Regularly
Firstly, professional astrologers need to make a living to remain sustainable. But astrologers who only read for the occasional friend who comes along with a life challenge do not garner enough experience to ever reach professional standards.
If you seek to impact lives with astrology, there’s no easy cheat/ hack around it.
I know this because I run an academy, and my students are at very distinct levels.
Most of my students are just generally interested in astrology, fascinated with the accuracy of its profiling and the personal development they can glean from examining their own charts.
But a small proportion of my students are drawn to astrology for the potential impact it can have for others…
